Our transport industry customers value our practical job-focussed training, often choosing to upgrade their heavy vehicle operators in company-owned vehicles. Individuals also often have access to train in the vehicle they will be driving.  With Allan Miller Driving School you can learn and be tested in your own vehicle provided your vehicle is roadworthy, meets the requirements in terms of size/class and has the correct load.

For training in your vehicle:

• we come to you
• high quality training applicable to your vehicle
• lower costs associated with learning in your own vehicle: we can provide you with a restricted licence (e.g. auto or synchro) so you don’t pay for the hours to learn these gearboxes.  You also receive a cheaper hourly rate, because you pay for the running costs of your vehicle.
• we teach you what you need to know

Allan Miller is happy to provide an instructor to train you in your vehicle so you feel confident  in the vehicle you are going to drive.

Conditions Apply

• to gain your truck licence your truck must be 75% loaded 
• your vehicle must be roadworthy
• have current registration and insurance
• have current inspection stickers for MC (not federal registration).
• vehicles loaded with livestock, passengers or dangerous goods, armoured vehicles or vehicles which are registered interstate cannot be used for testing

Lesson Prices
Our fees for providing a professional instructor to train you in your vehicle are $80 per hour. (Travel costs to be negotiated at time of booking)
